Many people enjoy a crackling fire this time of year but don’t have their own fireplace. On the iYule TV web site (www.iyule.tv) you can download your own open flame for display on your computer, TV, or iPod. The iYule virtual hearth is a 30-minute video that includes crackling sounds and background music by Geoff Smith. Different versions range in cost from $5 to $10 and a portion of proceeds go to charity.
